P.S. Yes, I'm looking for the 1910 census for them.

Linda,

I'm not sure what census year you want searched....if you already have the
1920 and 1930 are you looking for 1910? Knowing where they married isn't as
important as having a birthplace and birth year to search census indexes.
What is the birth year/birthplace for Michael and Harriet?

I appreciate your reply. No, I hadn't heard from anyone - probably because
I didn't give enough information. If I knew WHERE Harriet Butler and
Michael Brazil married, that would narrow my search. I did send a detailed request
to the Minnesota Lookup. I have both the Montana 1920 and 1930 censuses for
them. The 1920 census shows them with four children, the eldest being 10;
BUT, I was told the eldest was a chilld of Hattie's - either from a previous
marriage, or illigitimate, or the child of her siblings she was raising. His
name is Lawrence, was adopted as a Brazil; then George is listed as 4, Vince
age 2 and Mary Ellen age 1.

I've never looked at this in that much detail before (I'm just talking out
loud now), but if George was four years old, perhaps they were married "about"
four years previous to that date. (George was born 18 Sep 1915 - just found
it.) Any ideas?
Linda
