Thanks for digging, but I don't think it is them. Charles and Viola had no
children, and the birth places for Viola are way too wrong. Charles was a
day laborer, doing odd jobs, don't think he would have ended up a geologist.

Charles and Viola were real wanderers. Viola moved to Missouri with her
father, where she married 1897 to Charles, who was listed a resident of Fort
Scott, Kansas. In 1900 they were enumerated in Pueblo Colorado (where
Viola's father and sister had recently died), in 1910 in Spokane,
Washington, and in 1915 said to be living in Billings, Montana. They died
(1959-1962) in Solano County, California, but I have not been able to locate
them in the inbetween times.

Thank you so much for taking the time to try to ferret them out for me. I
greatly appreciate it.
