BRIEF ILLNESS FATAL
TO WELL-KNOWN WOMAN

Death of Mrs. Mary A. Hall
Is Grief to Large Circle
of Friends.

The many friends of Mrs. Mary A. Hall, wife of John Hall of 110 Spruce street, are grieved to learn of her death, which took place yesterday afternoon at St. Ann’s hospital. Three weeks ago she suffered a severe attack of erysipelas, which refused to respond to treatment. Her son, who is also suffering from the disease, is reported now as recovering.
Mrs. Hall was born June 15, 1857, at Prince Edward Island Canada, and made her home in Anaconda and Butte for more than 35 years. She was a devoted member of the Presbyterian church and took an active part in the fraternal and social life of the city. She was affiliated with the Brotherhood of American Yeoman, Daughters of the Thistle and Ladies’ auxiliary of the Loyal Order of Moose.
The surviving relatives are her husband and son J. B. C. Knight, assistant county attorney. The funeral will be held at the family home Wednesday afternoon, with services at the Presbyterian church at a time to be announced later.
