I thought of you when I read this obit in the paper. I remembered doing some look-ups for you on this family back in 2003.

Francis ‘Frank' Hursh, 87

OWATONNA, Minn. — Francis "Frank" William Hursh died Monday at the Cedarview Nursing Home in Owatonna, Minnesota.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1916, in Osceola, Mo., the son of Lynn and Rebecca (Riddle) Hursh. On Aug. 3, 1942 he married Lois Aubertin in Butte. During World War II, Frank was a captain in the Army Air Corp and was stationed in England for two years.

Frank is survived by his wife; two sons, Arthur Hursh and wife Karen, Fenton, Mich., and William Hursh, Minneapolis; brothers, Dale Hursh, Owatonna, Wayne Hursh and wife Frances, Waseca, Minn., Robert Hursh and wife Jean, Hayfork, Calif., Bill Hursh, Anaconda, and Kenneth Hursh, Wise River; sister, Lynn Corbett; granddaughters, Dawn Jantz and husband R. Jay, Heather Rensi and husband Ed, Misty Kelsey and husband Bill; great-grandsons, Kyler Jantz, Alex and Aiden Rensi; and great-granddaughter, Marissa Kelsey.

Private family graveside interment services for Frank will be held in the family plot of Upper Hill Cemetery with military honors presented by the Anaconda American Legion Color Guard. Funeral services were held in Owatonna, Minnesota Friday.

Local services are under the care of the KT Riddle Funeral Homes, Anaconda.
