Hello group!

Two years ago I learned that my family had lived at Belmont township in Lewis and Clark county during 1900 and 1901.

At that time I contacted the MT Historical society and purchased some photos of both Belmont and the nearby town of Marysville.

I now believe that they sent me photos of the wrong Belmont and that perhaps the Belmont in the photos is in either Golden Valley county or Chouteau county.

I wonder if someone may be able to look at the photos and be able to recognize where this Belmont was? And also if the photos of Marysville is indeed the Marysville located approx. 15 miles NW of Helena

Additionally, I would be most grateful to learn any biographical information about the township of Belmont.....I only have found that there was a post office there in 1902 and children from this area went to Closter school district #19. I am assuming that it was near Mt. Belmont.
