I've "rescued" a group of old photographs belonging to the HOLZEMER and
MICKEY Families of Montana and Illinois. Based on limited research I was
able to locate census information for the families and have included that
along with the information about each of the photographs:

1.Helen & Jacob HOLZEMER, taken at the W. H. Culver Studio in
Lewistown, MT, 1890's or 1900's, children 6-8 years old

2."HOLZEMER", taken at the E. D. Keller Studio in Helena, MT, 1890's,
woman in her 20's, note "Lewistown" and "instructions for changes to
photograph" on back

3.Helen HOLZEMER and Florence MICKEY, taken at the Gaites Studio in
Macomb, IL, dated July 1904, girls 8-10 years old

1900 census of Macomb, IL:

Ross J. MICKEY, age 44, born Jan 1852, married 8 years, born IL, parents
born PA, a Lawyer
Fannie MICKEY, wife, age 35, born Jun 1864, married 8 years, 1 child/1
living, born IL, parents born PA
Florence MICKEY, dau, age 7, born May 1893, born IL, at School

4.Ruth HOLZEMER, taken at the W. H. Culver Studio in Lewistown, MT,
dated Dec 22 06 , infant, note "born Oct 9 1906"

5.Jacob HOLZEMER, taken at the Keller Studio in Helena, MT, 1890's or
1900's, man in his 50's

6.Helena S. HOLZEMER, taken at the Keller Studio in Helena, MT, dated
Nov 1903, girl about 8 years

7.Jacob Lindsey HOLZEMER, taken at the W. H. Culver Studio in
Lewistown, MT, 1890's, boy about 4 years

8."HOLZEMER", taken at the Keller Studio in Helena, MT, dated Nov
1903, Woman in her 40's, children 6-10 years old

9.Jacob, Emery, & Helen HOLZEMER, no studio or location, 1890's,
infant to 6 years old

10.Helen HOLZEMER, no studio or location, dated Sept 8 1897, age noted
as 4 years old

1900 census of Lewistown, MT:

Jacob HOLZEMER, age 51, born Apr 1849, married 14 years, born Germany,
parents born Germany, to USA 1852, a Hotel Proprietor
Lena R. HOLZEMER, wife, age 37, born Apr 1863, married 14 years, 4
children/2 living, born IL, parents born KY/IL
Jacob HOLZEMER, son, age 10, born Nov 1889, born MT, at School
Helen HOLZEMER, dau, age 6, born Sept 1893, born MT

1910 census of Lewistown, MT:

Jacob HOLZEMER, age 60, married 23 years, born Germany, parents born Germany
Lena HOLZEMER, wife, age 45, married 23 years, 6 children/3 living, born IL,
parents born KY/IL
Jacob HOLZEMER, son, age 20, born MT, a Dry Goods Salesman
Helen HOLZEMER, dau, age 16, born MT, in High School
Ruth HOLZEMER, dau, age 3, born MT

1920 census of Lewistown, MT:

Jacob HOLZMER, age 70, to USA 1864, born Germany, parents born Germany
Lena HOLZMER, wife, age 56, born IL, parents born IL
Ruth HOLZMER, dau, age 13, born MT
And living directly next door
Jacob L. HOLZMER, age 30, born MT, parents born Germany/IL, a Traveling
Groceries Salesman
Ruth HOLZMER, wife, age 26, born MT, parents born MO/OH
Jennie HOLZMER, dau, age 4 years + 5 months, born MT

I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old
group of photographs can be returned to the family. If you are a member of
