I don't think the Illinois Hartman's are related to mine, at least not around 1860. The Hartman's I am tracing went from New York to Ohio to Kanasas, and then variouse places including Horse Plains (Plains) Montana. And my Christopher Hartman was born in 1860 in Akron, Ohio. Married to Desemona Beriman (not sure of the spelling) in Plains MT around 1885.
