Reprinted from The Montanian and Chronicle dated Sept. 12, 1902 Thos Dean, an old resident of Dupuyer, died suddenly at his home last Saturday afternoon of heart trouble. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon and the remains buried in the Dupuyer cemetery. Mr. Dean was one of those honorable, upright citizens whose death will be an irreparable loss to all in the community in which he had lived.

Reprinted from The Montanian Friday Jan 11, 1901. Mrs. Thomas Dean. Wednesday, Mrs. Thomas Dean died at her home a few miles west of Dupuyer. Particulars of her illness have not been learned. She was a native of Ireland, was married in England and came with her husband and family to Troy, N.Y., in 1861. They have been residents of Montana for a number of years. She was the mother of F.H., R.A. and T.J. Dean and of Mrs. C.B. Perkins all residents and prominent citizens of Dupuyer.
