No, I don't think there is a connection, but then I really don't know as I am just beginning to find quite a few Dupy lineages that I know very little about and I have been doing this for going on 34 years. There are Dupy's in New York and I have at least one line pretty well done, a Jonas Dupy who was living in Cattagorrus (?) County, New York in the 1800's. The only problem I find is the spelling of the name "Dupy" as there are so many different spellings given even within my own line. John Wesley Gray was born in Lee County, Iowa and married Matilda Jane Dupy in Lee County, Iowa. For a few years they lived in Macoupin and Jersey counties in Illinois then around 1897 (?) moved to North Dakota and finally settled in Moscow, Idaho where Matilda died, John then went to Yellowstone and died there. Would be interested in your lineage of the Dupy's if you have one. I do know there are Dupy's in France and have a rather extensive genealogical line on them from St. Guilhem!
