I have a ggrandfather Frank Mulvaney from Jersey City. He lived in NYC from
1850s to 1870s. The sponsor on his naturalization paper is John Mulvaney of
Catherine St., NYC. I don't know what the relationship was. His parents
names were Frank and Mary of Ireland.

There are two John Mulvaneys listed in the 1889-90 Jersey City
directory...don't know if either are related to Frank. Maybe you can make a
connection.
