Hello Listers;

I am clutching at straws but need some assistance at tracking down one of my
ancestors, James MUNRO born in Scotland about 1831.

He had arrived in Australia and married Rebecca CATTLING in June 1853 in
Melbourne, Victoria.

His death certificate here in Australia is not of much assistance as the
informant knew nothing of James parentage or where he came from in Scotland.

A few years after marriage his occupation had been listed as Railway
Employee, and later in life it was listed as Gardener.

Any assistance or advice greatly appreciated.
