According to the 1850 census, Daniel was 45 years old and born in KY. That
would make him born around 1805. Not that its much for info, but it is a
starting point. Daviess County was the 58th county formed in Kentucky,
coming into existence on January 14, 1815 from portions of Ohio County
(according to US Genweb site). I do not see a Murphy in Ohio County in 1810,
so you have alot of Murphy(s) to search.
