Hi, Dee and fellow listers. I don't want to be "bounced off", so here is my
Murphy ancestor! :)

Philip Murphy was born in County Sligo in 1802, and immigrated in 1822. He
settled in Milton, Northumberland County, PA. His oldest child was born
July 23, 1830 in Milton. Exactly where Philip was and what he was doing
between 1822 and 1829 is unknown. I also do not know the name of the ship
Philip came over on, where he landed, where in County Sligo he was born, who
his parents were....just some of the basics. I have his descendants pretty
well documented, but going any further back beyond Philip has eluded me.

To follow are the first three generations of my Murphy line. If anyone
connects with this family, or knows of any source I can check that may help
me locate more on Philip, I would appreciate hearing from you.
