Thanks to all of you who so kindly responded to my census search. I noted
the reference to the DNA test and would like to comment on that. I too have
submitted
to FTdna and Sorenson. The Murphy surname has a group going with somewhere
around 75-80 entries, now. Some connections have actually been made by
means of this project. I would encourage all Murphy researchers to submit a
sample and join this effort. It is not as expensive as you might imagine,
although more than a McDonald's
Big Mac. Just a suggestion. Good luck to all of you in search for these
prolific Irishmen,named Murphy.
