Hi -- Saw Irene Kleiber's message re Charles Evans Murphy b.1843 with
father Isaac Martin Murphy. I have been trying to find parents of my John
Recompence Murphy b.1844. He also was in Miami Co. Kansas, by about 1870; he
was buried in Paola Ks in 1930. Maybe he was a cousin to your Charles? Do you
have knowledge of names of siblings, or parents, of your Isaac Martin Murphy?
My g grandfather, John Recompence Murphy, was born in Indiana or Ohio in
1844. Have seen Adams and Franklin Counties mentioned as where he was born.
I think his father (or grandfather?) was Recompence Sherry Murphy b. 1775 in
NJ, who married Rachel Kelly.
