Do you know anything about this Moses Murphy and the Thompson family. I
have 2 Moses Murphy. Do you happen to know who Mary A. Murphy parents are?
And any of the other 4 siblings?


<< Mary A. Murphy, bn July 17, 1846 at or near Waveland, Ind. in Parke Co.
She had a brother named Moses, and 4 other siblings. the parents died leaving
them in the care of an uncle. She grew up in Parke County, and went to
work in the home of Thomas & Sarah Thompson. They had a son, William A.
who was in the Indiana volunteers. She married William A. while he was
serving in the army. they came west and are buried here in Okla. She d.
May 24, 1939. I have information on Thompsons, but nothing on Mary's family.
As many Murphys as there are out there, surely someone is related to me
on her side. Moses was an artist to some unknown degree. Respond if you
have any connection.
