I guess it is not unusual to run into roadblocks but I wish there were
not so many of them.

This is my Partick Murphy information. I hope someone can add to it.
Patrick Murphy, born March 17, 1836 in Ireland. Immigrated to the US in
1842. I know for sure that he married Julia Darnes in Coshocton, Ohio
on March 20, 1857. Julia died in 1902 and is buried in Linton, IN.
Their children were Anna, born in 1858; William, born in 1863; Mary
(Mollie), born in 1866 and married a COCKRAN; Charles, born abt
1867-69;Rosa, born 1871 and married a DECKARD; Franklin, born in 1873;
and Blanche, born in 1879 and married a PAGE.
Charles married Hettie (Esther) EPPERSON December 24, 1890 in Crawford,
IL They had one son and separated soon after. The son Frank married
twice, the last time to Helen GARSTANG. There were 3 children; Lloyd
Albert(Bud), killed in Vietnam; James and Sally.

The 1900 census shows Charles as a 30 year old divorced male living with
his parents in Linton, IN
