My g-grandfather, Eugene Patrick Murphy, came to the U.S. by way of Canada
sometime in the late 1800's. He married Mary Erard, who came from Sheboygan,
Wisc. Mary supposedly came from a family that had a piano manufacturing
business. I have been told that they lived on the Hudson, and had something
to do with a quarry business. They had 6 children, Eugene Anthony(my grandfather),
Mary, Frank, George, Rita, and Joseph. I don't have any more background
than that, and would appreciate any help.
