Hello--I am researching the "other" Gabriel (who married Clarey Herndon;
lived in Caswell NC; migrated to Russell Co. VA). These two gentlemen were
born just a few years apart and I am always stumbling into Gabriel and Ruth
Peregoy territory. Several individuals have linked these Nelson KY Murphys
to the Maryland group.

A gentleman by the name of Bob Moore has several informative postings on
Genforum regarding these two families. Not sure whether he posted his
information on the Murphy forum or on the Nelson Co. KY forum. You may want
to try both.
