Many of us in the Murphy group use the digest mode, which combines all
messages during a day and sends them as one big message. This 'digest' of
messages is indexed, as you can see in the example below:

I, as I presume do many others, use the above index to help decide whether
to read a particular message. As you can see, the first two subjects in
this index are rather meaningless because the writer didn't adequately use
the subject line of their message to describe what they were pursuing.
Please use the subject line of your messages to describe what you are
seeking...it really does help, and it might mean the difference between
being read and being ignored!
