Looking for information on parents and/or siblings for my G3 Grandfather,
John Murphy. John Murphy may have migrated from Virginia (West) during
the time that Kentucky was being formed from Virginia, so he may have migrated
through Lincoln, Madison, Garrard Counties to Jessamine County, KY. John
MURPHY died 23 Feb 1848 in Jessamine County, KY.

John married Susannah Stinnett on 15 Aug 1821 in Jessamine Co, KY. Susannah
(parents Reuben STINNETH and Lucinda UNKNOWN) was born Abt. 1804 in KY.

John Murphy and Susannah Stinnett had the following children:

1. Nancy Jane Murphy was born Abt. 1832 in KY.

2. Mary Ann "Polly" Murphy was born 1833 in Jessamine Co, KY. She died
20 Dec 1928 in Kokomo, Howard Co, IN.

3. James Murphy was born 1834. He died Jan 1921 in Jessamine Co, KY.

4. Hardin Murphy was born 1835 in Jessamine County KY.

5. William Murphy was born 1842. He died 12 Mar 1921 in Jessamine Co, KY.

6. Fanny Murphy was born 26 Jan 1843 in Jessamine Co, KY. She died 19 Sep
1926 in Kokomo, Howard Co, IN.

7. Sally Murphy was born 1844.

8. Elizabeth Murphy was born 1846.

G2 Grandfather John Murphy (parents John Murphy and Susannah Stinnett)
was born 1849 in KY.

John married Julia Ann Walker on 29 Nov 1865 in UNKNOWN. Julia Ann (parents
John Walker and Matilda Jennie REW) was born 1846 in KY.

John Murphy and Julia Ann Walker had the following children:

1. Bettie Murphy was born Abt. 1865 in KY.

2. John Murphy was born Abt. 1868 in KY.

3. Lindsey Murphy was born 29 Jan 1873 in Jessamine County KY. He died
27 Dec 1955.

4. George Murphy was born Abt. 1874 in KY.

6. Paris Murphy was born Abt. 1879 in KY.

Great Grandfather Lindsey Murphy (parents John Murphy and Julia Ann Walker)
was born 29 Jan 1873 in Jessamine County KY. He died 27 Dec 1955.

Lindsey married Effie Reece Johnson on 21 Dec 1893 in Owen County KY. Effie
Reece (parents Jerry Johnson and Lucresia Baker) was born 28 May 1877 in
Owen County KY. She died 25 May 1953 in Owen County KY.

Lindsey Murphy and Effie Reece Johnson had the following children:
