Since my husband descends from the Briggs line of Surry County so often
found in records relating to the Simon Murphys, I found one more to add to
your list.

William Briggs, Christened 11-8-1736, godparents Marmaduke Grusset, Simon
Murphy, Ann Grusset

William was the son of William Briggs and Mary Cooke. Grandson of Samuel
Briggs and Mary Bailey. My husband descends from Anne Briggs (daughter of
Samuel & Mary) who married Edward Goodrich II.
