Please forgive my last message to the list. I hit "reply" in answering a
message instead of making sure I had the correct address entered.

I have just scanned in several pages of Tennessee Land Grants
[Revolutionary, North Carolina and Tennessee] from Hardy MURFREE through
Zachariah MURPHY [and all spellings in between]. The scanning picked up
every speck on the poor copies so there may be some extra punctuation. The
county of the land grant is in parenthesis [i.e. (SE) = Sevier]. However, I
do not have a list of abbreviations, so you'll have to figure it out for
yourself, or send me a note and I'll try to help figure out the county.

If anyone would like this list and can take a Word attachment, please send
me a note: . This is a really good source for anyone
researching those Tennessee rascals.
