I also agree. One problem is that there are several out there who are
extremely sensitive about spelling for some reason. One Murphree
researcher argues that my Simon Murphy is not his Simon Murfrey, simply
because of the spelling, though they were the same age, lived in the
same place, and married the same woman. Like most of you, I've seen
three different spellings of the same person in the same document!
Spelling, Schmelling. Just combine all groups into O'Murchada, or is it
O'Murchoe? Never mind. My research isn't that far back yet anyway.
