I am referring to William who was father of Timothy, Elizabeth, Anna/Anne
(mine!), Esther and Henry. Timothy's mother, apparently (underscore the
word), died and William then married Elizabeth Wells, who was mother of the
four younger children.

PS Anna/Anne married Thomas Lanier and their son, Murphy Lanier, was my
gggrandfather.
