For whatever it's worth the Heritage Quest index lists him as Ceffy.
I think it might be Ciffy-- and for whatever else it might be worth, I knew
a Clifford in high school whose nickname was Kiffy. Just a thought.

My grandfather is John's youngest son and he is the last living child.
He's 87...I sure wish we could have found his oldest brother for him (he
didn't even know about this brother until I found him a few years ago..and
by that time I'm sure the brother was already passed)

Does anyone have this Ciffy/Ceffy Murphy...or any of William and Emma's
children in their family tree?
