All those show that their parents were also born in Ireland, which certainly
fits yours, and because all were enumerated in 1880 as "other", none were
apparently living with family members.
The only thing that might help in choosing one over the others might be
occupation:
1880 Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts - page 359
Michael J. Murray, other, age 23; living in a boarding house; CARRIAGE SHOP
1880 1st Ward, San Francisco, California, page 57
Michael Murray, age 27; appears to be living on a ship; COAL PASSER
(head of this "household" is Domingo Egorrin of Chili, occupation, Fireman)
1880 Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas - page 291
Michel Murray, age 26; living in what appears to be a military barracks;
occupation SOLDIER
1880 Soldier, Shawnee, Kansas - page 297
Michael Murry, age 23; boarder and LABORER
Living with Martin and Catherine Mel family, age 29 and 30, both born PA,
parents born IRE
Martin Mel's occupation is Blacksmith
1880 Braidwood, Will, Illinois - page 429
Mke Murray, age 23; MINER
Living with William and Elizabeth Scurrh family, age 30 and 25, both born
England.
William Scurrh's occupation is given as miner also, as well as three other
apparently unrelated men in the household.
Any help here?
Being enumerated as "other" appears to mean they weren't settled in 1880.
None of the above were still there in the same place in 1900.
