Looking for info on Hugh and Catherine Murray listed as living in Albion Mines in both the 1871 and 1881 census... In 1871 census:
Hugh (M 43 Md Sawyer), Catherine (F 40 Md), Maggie (F 16), Alex (M 19 labourer), Andrew (M 18), Simon (M 11), Minnie (F 2) (my great grandmother)
Catherine born Scotland: others, N.S. All origins: Scotch. Religion:all church of Scotland.
In 1881 census:
Hugh (M 66 Md Ships carpenter), Catherine (F 61 Md),, Andrew (M 18), Simon (M 11),
Catherine born Scotland: others, N.S. All origins: Scotch. Religion:presbyterian
Any further information on Hugh and Catherine or their children would be greatly appreciated.
