There is also a McQueen (and spelling variants) DNA study at
www.relativegenetics.com You can import your results to the study from
FTDNA so the study could be cross referenced to both studies.

Thanks

Message Board Post:

Chris,
Are you saying you are a descendant of Charles Queen, Jr. of Harrison
County Virginia/West Virginia? I have gone through my copy of the Queen
Family History and am not able to match your information to any of the
Queen's given in the book. This has happened before as the book did not get
everybody recorded for one reason or another. I am interested in getting as
many of the Queen's from Charles large family as possiable recorded and
reunited with those that have their place already in the Family History up
to 1942 when the book was published. I am a member of a large Queen Surname
DNA test group that is looking for more of Charles Queen descendants to take
a DNA test which will help establish relationship to many of those who can
not prove their connection to a particular Queen group, So far it appears we
have two and possable three different Queen families. I would advise anyone
having trouble proving his family line to join the group and take the test.
As a member of the !
group you get a discount on the price as well as meeting a great group of
people willing to help you in your search.
