Dear Listmembers:

If you have had any interruption in mail service or if you have
unsubscribed and
resubscribed while taking a vacation you may be curious what you may have

missed on this list. Or if you are new to the list and want to see what
was
posted prior to subscribing you can visit the Rootsweb Archives to
view old messages that have been posted. You can search either by
subject /keyword [Interactive Search] or by date [ Threaded Archives.]

The Interactive Search for MarinGenSoc-L will be found at:
http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl

Visit: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/
The Threaded Archives for the list will be found at:
http://archiver.rootsweb.com/MARINGENSOC-L/

You will be asked to create a user ID and a password to access the
archives.
I am not sure why they do this, but that is what is asked for so you can
get
to the messages.

I suggest you file this message where you can find it again easily.

You can view the archives for most all the lists at Rootsweb. They all
use the
same process. It only requires that the listowner will have opted to
archive
their list.
