Subject: [Mariners-L] The Captains WELLS in India

Captain Thomas William WELLS [McNiel Co.] and his brother Captain Joseph WELLS
[Branch Pilot, Hoogly River] were both operating in the Calcutta area in the
mid to late 19th century. Their father was also a sea Captain but I have no
idea where he was based other than the children were born in Kent [College
Gardens?]. I would appreciate any information on these mariners.
