I also have access to a complete set of Lloyd's Register for 1764-1885,
although my access is almost the complete reverse of Gilbert's: I have
immediate access to the volumes for 1764-1881, and access when I am in Los
Angeles (2-3 days a week) to the volumes for 1882-1985. To avoid overwork
and duplication of effort, perhaps Gilbert and I could divide the
inquiries between us, depending upon who has the easier access to the
volumes for the period the vessel in question was known to be active?
