Hi

If you contact the Norwegian Maritime museum, I'm sure they can help you
with your ships norwegian history. I just checked, and it's not a ship
from Stavanger.
The Norwegian Maritime museum just finished digitalizing a huge archive
gathered by Captain Petter Malmstein (1903-1981). It contains over
80.000 names of sailing ships! Give it a shot.

Address is:
Norsk Sjøfartsmuseum
Bygdenesveien 37
0286 Oslo

They do not have e-mail, but a page on the URL:
http://www.hiof.no/nsm/

Hope this could help a little.
