Dear Mr Provost:
A friend of yours (or colleague) referred me to you as the expert
in old ships. I've been trying for
over 20 years to find the details of this schooner. My Great Grandfather
was captain on this schooner. He was residing in Bornholm (Hasle)
and sailed this ship. I've found a number of contracts in the Danish
records regarding him and this ship. The last one is no 723 dated
nov 30 1869 with a cargo destined for Hull. Then the contracts end.
I know that at about this time he left for the USA...so what happened?
Any information at all would be highly appreciated!!
Best Regards
John A Hansen
