Hi all, I am new to this and would like to know how to go about getting
information on my father-in-law. He was a ship engineer for American
Steamship. He was transferred off the Edmond Fitzgerald the same year or
previous year before it went down. Then I believe he went on john Bowlin or
something like that. I would like to find out where to start and how to
start this type of search. I believe his father was a seaman too? Thanks for
