I am seeking information on Captain Donald McPhun
(AKA as McPerson) and the following Ships he sailed in.

JANET: a barque which carried passengers and cargo,
reported in Australia from London 1834-1841

ESPERANZA: ? built in Glasgow in early 1840's by
McPhun Brothers and sailed to Valpareiso in Chile where it was sold.

Ship ANN MARY of Liverpool

Sydney. NSW An old letter
written by Captain Donald McPhun states "Ship in Vancouver Island 1869, to
pick up some sailors and bound for Sidney direct, to go to Newcastle to
bring cargo of coal to San Francisco, expect to arrive in 7 months".
I have found only minimal information in the
'Log of Logs'.
