Gerard,

The POLITICIAN was A 7,939 gross ton ship built for the Neptune Steam
Navigation Co (Furness Withy & Co) in 1923 as the LONDON MERCHANT.
Purchased by the Harrison Line in 1935 and renamed POLITICIAN. Wrecked on
the Isle of Eriskay 4th Feb.1941.
