Peter Harrison asked about HMS Persian.

There were two, the later one being built at Pembroke Dockyard circa 1836 to
the Surveyor Symonds design. One of the Pilot/Acorn Class of second class
brigs, Persian was originally planned to be a Brig cum packet of the Star
class. She was launched in October 1839 and broken up in 1866.
