Hello Listers,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I should like to know the circumstances of
the loss of the 'LAUDERDALE' According to family tradition she was hit by a
typhoon in the China Sea circa 1878.
George Provost has found the following information for me from the 1877-78
Lloyd's Register:-
Code Letters: NKHQ
Official Number: 22165
Master: Captain L.Bice
Owners: J.Willis & Son
Port of Registry: London
- MISSING
Does anyone have access to the Lloyd's List, and have the time to do a "look
up" for me?
Yours sincerely,
Susan Martin, Inveraray, Argyll.
