Two brothers, two questions, one message.
Can anyone point me to access of further information about the following:
1) Samual Holbrow
born 5th September 1792
chief officer of East India Company's "Berwickshire"
died at sea 27 January 1822 (my info says aged 27 but..)
Could this have been as a result of an accident or illness?
and
2) Thomas Holbrow
born 14th March 1795
commander of "Marianne"
died of fever in the island of Java, contracted through remaining too long
on land in search of a lost sailor, 2nd January 1821
no wonder they all joined the army until my Grandfather, my father and I
went to sea!
