Does anyone have information on how to obtain someone's British Naval
records from the 1920's? I don't have much to go on - I think the name of
his ship was the Birmingham and I think it docked someplace in Canada in
1925-26 or thereabouts, but that's all I know except for his name and
probable birth date. I have had no luck through the Public Records Office -
they said the only way to get access to old naval records through them is to
go to their office. I'm in Canada and I don't foresee going to the UK, so
I'm at a loss. I'd be grateful for any leads, Jacqueline
