Hi Andy,

Thankyou very much for your help, I do believe it was coal that the Snow
Martindale was carrying from Hartlepool to London, if not coal then perhaps
iron from the Cleveland area, though most likely coal. With your reply and
those of others I now know where in the North Sea the two John's were at
midnight on the 7th April 1861, great!!
