Hi,

My wife is researching her family "O'Neill". We would like any information on the following vessel.
"The Expert" a 16 ton steamship circa 1861. It left Melbourne for Christchurch, NZ. as deck cargo on the "Omeo" in 1861. It operated as a mail ship around Christchurch and was operated by O'Neill and Roberts.

Any help would be most welcome.
