Hi Moira,

I have no record of the incident, but the PASS OF BALLATER was a 796 gross
ton coastal oil tanker, built 1928, owned by Bulk Oil Steamship Co, and
apparently survived the war.

Sorry but this is all I have on this ship (I am sure someone else will be
able to provide more!)
