My father was lieutenant on HMS HYACINTH in January 1918 off Europa Island, East Africa. I have a small photograph of the vessel I think taken in Durban harbour. Coudl anyone possibly tell me if this is the same HYACINTH on the net with Rear Admiral Pye inset. It looks the same but the one in Durban does not appear to have the rigging. Thanks.
