If the campaign was indeed Norway, then the allies laid mines April 5th
1940, allies landed Andaisnes April 18 and withdrew May 1st. Namsos: landed
April 16/17 and withdrew May 2/3 within the time frame that you list. I
wonder if it was mine damage? Details taken from The World at Arms, Readers
Digest.
