FRANCES HYDE.
Wooden 4 masted schooner.
Built 1905 by Kelly, Spear & Co, Bath, Maine.
739 GRT.
174.0ft L, 39.1ft B, 12.7ft D.
One deck.
Owners: Benvenue Granite Co.
Port of Reg : New York.
1908. Fitted with compound steam engine of 27NHP by shipbuilders.
From 1925 LR of S.
ENA . ex JOYCE FRENCH, MARY TAMPLIN, FRANCES HYDE.
Now shown as a "Wooden 3 masted auxiliary screw schooner "
785 GRT
183.9ft L (lengthened ,other dimensions same )
Owners : A/S Ena (P Skarbovik , manager).
P of R : Alesund.
From 1933 LR of S.
Details as 1925.
N.B. She was one of fourteen FOUR masted schooners built by this company
between 1901 and 1914.
