Lynn, a bit more on the history of the Parkmore.
Built in 1880 for the Antrim Iron Ore Company. On the 29th January 1914 she
sank in Belfast Lough after a collision with another local collier, the ss
Eveleen. She was raised and sold to the Cliffburn SS Co, Samuel Stewart
managers, of Belfast being renamed Cliffmore. She had another mishap in May
1924 when she went aground in the Firth of Forth. Again she was refloated
but did not last much longer as she was sold in September 1925 to
shipbreakers in Scotland.
