Good morning Bob,
There was a small steam fishing vessel DUNEDIN , 1910, registered in Macduff
, Scotland.
Sorry can't find a "S.S. DUNEDIN" sailing in WW2.

There were however.
M.V. DUNEDIN STAR ,1936, Union Cold Storage Co (Blue Star Line) which sank
29thth November 1942 after stricking a submerged object.
M.V. PORT DUNEDIN , 1925, Port Line Ltd., scrapped 1962.

Regards,
John,

John D. Stevenson,
Blue skies, N F3/4 , 7C .
Edinburgh.
