I don't have a full copy of George Black's Book, only the one page. Your
message helps understand the connection with the Crichtons of Bute (who also
owned Sanquhar Castle prior to the Douglas Family). It also reinforces
Malcolm (M'Kaill) McCall of Bute or Cantyre, who lost his head in 1306 near
Loch Ryan? with two Irish Chieftains and the Bruce brothers ( who were
quartered, etc).

A Memorial Day Rememberance of Donald T McCall of Michigan who survived the
horrors of our Civil War, prison at Andersonville, and on the way home when
the boiler exploded on the boat, Sultana, it killed him and many of those POW
survivors.
